Oliver Crosby has a breadth of experience designing systems and writing software in the tech industry spanning telecom, digital security, government, medical research, and education over the past 10 years. Fueled by an insatiable passion for knowledge, analysis, and problem-solving, he was awarded highest honours upon completion of his bachelor’s degree in computer science with a minor in mathematics in 2006.

Repeatedly acknowledged for his strength in the design and analysis of efficient algorithms, he was accepted to the nationally recognized faculty of graduate studies at Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. In addition to adjunct teaching responsibilities at Carleton University, he also received a grant providing funding for his on-going research in computational geometry with applications to human-computer interaction.

Oliver’s reputation for brainstorming creative solutions is the key to his problem solving abilities. His success may be attributed to his hands-on attitude and a drive to produce technology that allows everyone everywhere to work smarter, faster, and better.

Even when relaxing, he continues his work hard / play hard mentality. An avid fan of all forms of game and competition, he brings an analytical approach to every endeavor. As always, learning is crucial to better performance, and as such he makes every effort to learn every facet of an an experience, be it game or sport. Most recently, he partnered with a physical trainer to revise an exercise regime to target improved performance for him and his team in the 2009 Ottawa Dragon Boat Race.

These are the qualities integral to his approach to work/life balance which allow him to make the most of every opportunity.
